PEACH/TAN IN COLOUR.
IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS, BUT DOES HAVE THE
STEM BROKEN OF ON THEM.
MADE BY CARLTON WARE HAND PAINTED TRADEMARK AUSTRALIAN DESIGN ON
BACK.
IT MEASURES 27cmS IN LENGTH X 22.5cms IN WIDTH AT IT'S WIDEST POINT.

RARE Pink CARLTON WARE Buttercup Bowl

Very lovely and seldom seen Pink Buttercup bowl in excellent order.
The very base has a tiny "in manufacture" open bubble to the corner.
We have indicated this in the pics below with an arrow. This can
happen with china when the clay is not kneaded well to remove the
trapped air or when there is a tiny air pocket in the mould, which is
very likely what happened in this case. Often when the article is
fired the air expands hence creating this open bubble. It detracts
only very slightly. This still represents an excellent example. Has
some minor crazing and a spot stain. No other chips, cracks, repairs,
wear scratches etc etc. Measures 9 1/8" in length
