Devine Shape
Description
Offered for auction with NO RESERVE is this beautiful vintage milk
jug/creamer/sauce jug from British Anchor, England.
The unusual shape and stylised floral design give it a rather retro
feel
The back stamp dates it to c1954+

Condition
It is in quite good vintage condition - does have a little wear to the
silver gilt trim on the rim, a couple of tiny flea bites around the
edge of the base, some discolouration around the edge of the base and
one small hairline crack that is really only visible on the inside
(see photo below)
These are all quite minor flaws which are only mentioned for the sake
of accuracy and don't spoil the look of the jug at all.

It is approx. 2.5" tall and 6.75" long from spout to handle.

DECANTER ~ Faithful Reproduction From A British Pub ~ Incredible
Detail ~ STUNNING Workmanship!! ~
I could not believe my eyes when I came across the two incredible
decanters I have listed for you this week!!! They truly are THE most
beautiful objects for your SHABBY Chateau and I can just picture
summer picnics with your cold drinks ON TAP!!!
Here we have the SPECTACULAR PINK Lemonade Decanter.
To quote the label ~ " We met the most charming gentleman on
Portobello Road who was selling the contents of an authentic English
pub. We thought the pink and green GIN decanters were equally
charming and decided to reproduce them for teetotallers. Faithfully
reproduced from the antique originals this decanter can now hold your
favourite iced tea or lemonade recipe to delight your family and
guests" ~ (Two's Company)
So you can see that these have been copied from an antique design and
how beautiful this LEMONADE decanter is!! There is an abundance of
gold and the pink is just the most gorgeous shade ~ I hope that it is
showing nicely on your monitor ~ it is a soft "musk stick" pink ~
DIVINE!! Please look at the photos carefully to experience the
beauty!
It will really make a statement in your kitchen or display cabinet ~
it is BIG ~ measuring 27cm high with a circumference of 71cm ~ a real
pot belly!! The nozzle is BRASS and works as a lever. It is in
PERFECT, new condition. OF COURSE you don't have to use this for
Lemonade ~ use you imagination as to how it can be used or simply
displayed!!!

leaving negative feedback, so please adhere to these requests.
My ONLY payment method is by DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT ~ I'm sorry but I no
longer accept Money Orders or Bank Cheques. Unfortunately, due to the
inordinate number of people who have taken up to four weeks to pay by
these methods, I have had to re-evaluate my way of keeping my accounts
in order ~ as a result, if you are not happy with depositing money
either on-line or by making a deposit directly over the counter at the
bank, then please refrain from bidding. I regret having to have made
this decision ~ Sorry, NO Personal Cheques.
Postage & Insurance
Buyer is responsible for all postage costs ~ wherever possible, I try
to give postage costs in the listing description ~ if needed, please
ask me for a quote to your destination before you bid so there are no
nasty surprises at the end of the auction! ☺ In most cases, I do
not charge for packaging ~ I use recycled boxes wherever possible ~
however, with very fragile items where I need to use a lot of bubble
wrap or foam peanuts, then a small fee will be added to your postage
total ~ this will be noted in the listing where applicable.
I am happy to combine wins within the same week to save you on postage
costs. I recommend insurance, especially for fragile items ~ The cost
is AU$2.35 for the first AU$100 of the items value ~ increasing along
with the value of the item, you will need to consider this when you
are bidding ~ I cannot be held responsible for items that go missing
in the post or are damaged whilst uninsured ~ however I will do my
best to assist, if I can, in tracking down something that does go
astray.
I post twice weekly ~ I will advise you by email when your package is
on the way!!
