RARE BOOK. - LEE'S PRICELESS RECIPES. 1895.
Last Price: AU $67.00 Ending Date and Time (GMT): 2004-11-26 10:56:03 This book was first published in 1895. This is a recent reprint of the
original 1895 first edition. Many things in this book would not be
able to be printed today. The publisher has added a warning in the
front, mentioning the medical cures and explosives formulas. It's said
that some clever individuals have accumulated riches beyond their
dreams from careful studying of the once closely-guarded secrets
contained within these pages. Browse through the list below to get a
revealing glimpse of some of the thousands of secret, tried formulas
and simple methods for âfarmers, housekeepers, mechanics,
manufacturers, druggists, chemists, perfumers, barbers, chiropodists,
renovators, dyers, bakers, confectioners, woodworkers, decorators,
painters, paper-hangers, metal-workers, hunters, trappers, tanners,
taxidermists, stockmen and all people in every department of human
endeavor.â Compiled by Dr. N. T. Oliver. The sheer volume of
information contained in this book is staggering. The book is divided
into seven sections. The first section is headed âTHE DRUGGISTâ.
It begins with abbreviations, tables of weights & measures and the

prepare decoctions and infusions, liniments, ointments, salves,
cerates, lozenges, troches, cough drops, wafers, plasters and
poultices, syrups, tinctures, essences and elixirs. There are popular
patent medicines; tonics, alteratives, stomachics, carminatives,
bitters and diuretics etc. This section concludes with a truly amazing
list of âtried remediesâ, detailed directions on how to prepare
concoctions that would probably make you millions if they work, some
of which are; how to remove tapeworm, a sure cure for smallpox, sure
cure for diphtheria, sure cure for piles, healing salve, lozenges for
heartburn, lung medicine, toothache drops, a certain cure for
drunkenness, corns â a sure cure and painless eradication, a cure
