"BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL HOLLY HOBBIE"

This beautiful piece of original vintage 1970s Holly Hobbie is offered
without reserve.
The wash jug is made from fine porcelain, and decorated around the rim
and handle in gold. It shows the classic Holly Hobbie figure of a
little girl with a blue bonnet and patchwork apron, and bears the
legend, "Start each day in a happy way". The jug is approximately 15.5
cm (6 inches) high.
The jug is in very good condition, with no wear to the gilt trim.
There is however a 1 cm chip to the lip of the jug, that has a fine
hairline crack running from it. For this reason, it is offered with a
very low starting price, and no reserve. There are no other chips,
cracks, crazing or repairs, and the piece displays very well.
The wash jug was were made for the Australian market by John Sands. It
is backstamped "Holly Hobbie Designers Collection, by Sands. Genuine
Porcelain. WWA Inc USA .Made in Japan", and bears the date MCMLXXIV
(1974).
This very collectable vintage piece would make a wonderful addition to
your collection.

The tray is in good condition with some scratches evident on close
inspection and loss of gilding around edges due to age. The tray is
shiny and glossy and the decoration in the middle appears partially
added by brush and partially transfer printed. The rear is marked with
a green Komaru (I believe it is called that) mark within a wreath. The
tray measures 27.5cm in length to small handle edges and 13.5cm wide.

A lovely Lancaster Ltd Porcelain Jug

The scene on this jug is called "The Old Mill".
It shows a gorgeous little thatched cottage and mill house with a
garden next to a stream. The jug is edged in green.
This piece measures approx.8.5cm high and is approx.12cm at it's
widest.
This jug has NO crazing, cracks or repairs. On the bottom of the jug
is the Lancaster Ltd stamp.
I have many L and Sons and Lancaster Sandland pieces that I will be
selling.

be received within 10 days of auction end or item will be withdrawn
