Sorry, we know this is a lot of information, but it clarifies most of
the questions we are asked every day via e-mail. This also allows you
to know exactly what is expected at end of auction.
* FORMS OF PAYMENT
:-
AUSTRALIAN BUYERS
We accept Direct Deposit (preferred) or Money Orders. Regrettably we
can no longer accept PayPal payments within Australia as eBay will not
allow us to recover the 3% PayPal fees we are charged.
We
DO NOT ACCEPT Personal Cheques. E-mail BEFORE BIDDING if you have
problems paying with any of these methods.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS
PAYPAL is the ONLY form of payment we accept…we cannot accept
International Money Orders or Cheques, they take up to 30 days to
clear and cost me an additional $10. Shipping costs quoted here are
for Australia only, unless specifically stated otherwise. E-mail me
for an accurate shipping quote.
NB: Please do not use checkout. We will send a PayPal invoice in $US
to you at end of auction as eBay Australia does not support Paypal for
invoicing.
* PAYMENTS
:- All payment to be made within 5 working days of end of auction. We
appreciate an e-mail to let us know you have paid or have sent a Money
Order. If you cannot pay within 5 days e-mail BEFORE BIDDING to ask
for an extension of time. We do send one reminder notice only! If
items are not paid for within 10 working days, items will be relisted
and a non-paying bidder (BNP) alert will be filed.
* DIRECT DEPOSIT PAYMENTS
:- If paying by Direct Deposit (even inside the bank), please leave
either your Ebay user name OR the item number on your deposit to
assist in identifying your payment. If depositing inside the bank and
teller will not allow a description, please e-mail to let us know when
and where deposit was made, and how much was deposited. Failure to do
this will significantly delay your item being shipped.
* PICK UP IS ALWAYS WELCOME.
WE ARE APPROX 15 mins from MELBOURNE City Centre – in the SOUTH
EASTERN Suburbs.
* POSTAGE AND POSTAL ISSUES
:- To save you money we try to use prepaid postpaks (within Australia)
wherever possible. $4.50 for up to 500gms, and $8.10 for up to 3kgs.
If item will not fit into a postpak we will state on the auction and
usually provide a Postage Calculator at the bottom of the ad. If not
just, e-mail your postcode for a postage quote. We do not charge a
handling fee, but occasionally have to charge for packing supplies
(about $1). We post out twice a week (usually Tuesdays and Thursdays).
We are always happy to COMBINE POSTAGE to save you money. Will hold
any items won for up to 1 week if you are bidding on other items and
would like to combine postage, just e-mail and ask. If you need
longer, again, please ask first… To allow us to combine the postage
for you we ask that you do not use CHECKOUT for each item but at the
end of your shopping only or e-mail when you are done and allow us to
combine them for you. We will happily mail your item REGISTERED MAIL
for an additional $2.35, which covers you for up to $100 should your
item be lost or damaged in the mail and we highly recommend this as we
cannot accept liability for Australia Post errors including
lost/damaged parcels. If for some reason you feel you have been
overcharged for postage (errors do occur, and postage is sometimes,
but rarely, misquoted), please contact us to query the costs.
* HOW TO KNOW YOUR ITEM HAS BEEN POSTED
:- We do not contact you personally to let you know your item is on
the way, we simply sell too much to be able to do this. Instead we
leave feedback for you on the day your item is posted. We appreciate
feedback left when item is received. To allow us enough time to answer
all e-mails please do not e-mail simply to check if payment has been
received unless you have not received your item within 14 days of the
auction end.
* REFUND POLICY
:- We are only human and as such can make errors, or may miss a fault
in an item. If you receive an item and it is not as described, or is
faulty, e-mail BEFORE leaving feedback. We am very approachable and
will always strive to work to a mutually acceptable outcome. Faulty
items (unless stated in auction) will automatically be given a full
refund, including postage, or an exchange (or shop credit) where
possible.
* ALL THE REST
:- If you have any questions at all regarding this item or anything
else, ask BEFORE bidding. All winning bids are final and you are
entering a legally binding contract to buy this item.
We often relist some of the same items. This is NOT your item you
have won unless we have personally e-mailed you to let you know
otherwise.
