It's 10" (25.5 cms) across.

It was made before Doulton had the honour ROYAL conferred upon it.
The pattern is a black transfer called JERSEY.
The mark shows that it was made in England for export mainly to the
USA, but this particular plate was imported by a Brisbane (Australia)
importer.

The mark above dates it conclusively to the decade 1891 - 1901.
Condition is good. No chips, no cracks. When held at an angle to the
light, I see utensil scratches.
I have other eBay listings of interesting and varied things
