Antique "Maling" exquisite extra large display bowl
Last Price: AU $399.00 Ending Date and Time (GMT): 2004-11-20 07:18:48 Wonderful rare huge bowl by Maling, with the wonderful thumb print
painting. It has incredible lustre and is in the magnificent blue
colouring. It has no chips, no cracks no hairlines or repairs, and is
certainly one for the collector. There is some slight ware to the
gold embossed edge, but considering the vintage it is in wonderful
condition. It measures a grand 21cm across and is 10cm deep!! It is
made in Newcastle-on-Tyne in England. See my sellers list for antique
furniture, treasures and collectables.
GRIMWADE BYZANTINE LUSTRE WARE BOWL
Last Price: AU $7.00 Ending Date and Time (GMT): 2004-11-19 06:00:53 Grimwade Byzantine Pattern Lustre Ware Bowl. 28 cms diameter. No
chips, cracks or crazing, but some rubbing to the lustre ware glaze; I
have no idea what is acceptable.
I don't usually sell this kind of thing so please let the photos be
your guide. I did not want to try and get rid of my surplus china and
glass on eBay because it is more difficult to package than jewellery
and books. I was going to have a garage sale but there will soon be no
more for the car so I am going to have to bite the bullet. Please note
that all sales are final â I am not an expert in old china or glass.

Will ship at parcel post rate for 2Kg but actual cost may depend on
the size of box required and where in Australia you live. I spend a
lot of time answering questions about postage on these items. Please
note that this time I have included a posted weight for all lots.
However it is intended as a guide only - please don't work out your
own postage costs and send a payment without contacting me first. I
always post as cheaply as possible but large lots require bigger
boxes; bigger boxes cost more to post under the Australia Post cubing
rule. You can check the postage cost through the Australia Post web
site; all jewellery travels at parcel post rate. I charge an extra $1
per posting to cover packing costs. In Australia I post from postcode
2033. Registration or insurance is required on all lots ending at over
$50; in Australia this is $2.35 for up to $100; overseas insurance is
an extra $7.50. You can always combine items to save on postage and
insurance.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT PAYPAL IS YOUR ONLY METHOD
OF PAYMENT. I APPRECIATE YOUR CUSTOM BUT IT IS A SHAME WHEN SOME
PEOPLE DONâT READ THE CONDITIONS OF MY AUCTION PROPERLY. THIS LEADS
TO DISAPPOINTMENT ON BOTH SIDES.
I have tried very hard to be scrupulous in describing any faults that
are apparent and I have included photos of all lots; if there are any
questions, please ask. I do not try to repair or clean any items; I am
not an expert. Their condition reflects how I received them. I welcome
overseas interest and so far (fingers crossed!) have had no problems
with airmail postings to USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Japan,
Israel & Singapore. However international mailing is expensive; any
parcel more than 2cms thick has to go by parcel post. This means
almost all pieces of jewellery, especially if you put them in a padded
envelope and wrap them in bubble wrap as I do. On the good side most
individual pieces of jewellery are quite light. You can check the
Australia Post web site http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/ to get an idea
of approx costs; I charge an extra $1 to go towards the cost of
packaging. I am always happy to weigh lots for you and always give
some idea of weight in heavy lots. Please see requirements re
insurance in my PLEASE READ section. I have an enormous amount of
items to sell so please keep checking my listings; I generally list
new items every week
PLEASE READ
Australian buyers use Direct Bank Deposit (preferred), or money orders
or cheques (allow for clearance); please note postal address for
cheques/money orders is P O Box 550 Kensington NSW 1465. International
buyers use PayPal only. International buyers MUST contact me for
currency conversion as PayPal does not support the Third World
Australian Dollar; if you use the PayPal button you will be paying the
total in your own (more valuable) currency. Combine auctions to save
money. All auctions final; no returns. Buyers to contact me within 3
days of auction's end for postage costs and payment details. After an
unfortunate recent experience (yes the parcel did finally arrive) I am
now going to insist on insurance for all overseas postings with an
auction price of AU$50 or higher (cost is AU$7.50 for up to AU$100
value; an extra AU$2.00 for every $100 above that); and registration
for all Australian sales $50-$100 value. Higher Australian sales will
require extra insurance. If you have any problems with this please
contact me BEFORE you bid.
