Champion Brisbane Lions duel premiership captain Michael Voss and
leading Western Bulldogs ruckman Luke Darcy were the 2002 joint
winners. The award, for 'most maluable player' was decided on the
votes of 601 AFL players and Voss and Darcy each received 121 votes.
Voss was also named 'Best Captain'.
